JALALI
Hamed joined NEOMA Business School in September 2017 and has been serving as a Full Professor in Supply Chain Management since September 2024. He holds a Master’s degree in Statistics and a PhD in Business Economics from KU Leuven, Belgium.
Hamed's research focuses on simulation optimization, particularly leveraging Kriging-based algorithms, addressing challenges at the intersection of marketing and operations management, and exploring sustainable supply chain practices through game-theoretic models. His work has been published in leading journals such as IIE Transactions, European Journal of Operational Research, and the International Journal of Production Economics.
He is an active ad-hoc reviewer for several prestigious journals, including the International Journal of Production Economics and European Journal of Operational Research. Over the years, Hamed has received multiple teaching awards for his contributions to education at NEOMA Business School.
In addition to his academic pursuits, Hamed has collaborated on various industrial projects, including an inventory management initiative for IMEC and a stock rationing project for EuroGijbels, a prominent fruit and vegetable distribution company in Belgium.
