MOBIS Research Institute

MOBIS Research Institute’s goal is to better understand mobility under ecological and technological constraints. Through the applied research projects it has conducted since 2007, MOBIS has established itself as a primary actor on such issues among public institutions (e.g. EU, OECD, French government, Normandie Region) and international firms (e.g. Bureau Veritas, Ceva Logistics, Mazda, and CHU Rouen). The Institute also works with regional players in global supply chains (e.g. the ports of Le Havre, Rouen, and Paris), through its innovative and sustainable approach on the socio-economics of transport and logistics. MOBIS also helps actors and organisations provide added value by developing and implementing sustainable performance drivers and optimising their logistics.

MOBIS has also brought together multidisciplinary public research bodies (such as INSA Rouen and IDIT) on logistics topics, including international joint research projects (e.g. RISC and FASE) and the CLASSE 2 projects, which are funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). The purpose of the RISC project is to analyse logistics as a focus for economic development in the Paris-Seine-Normandy corridor. As part of the FASE project, MOBIS is developing an international think tank that will enable NEOMA to reaffirm its corporate focus and forge new partnerships.
